Contact us by visiting or calling to discuss the scheme and what bikes are available on it.
1. Your employer needs to be registered with one of the above Cycle to Work schemes. They can find out how to do this on the Cycle to Work Scheme websites.
2. Once you have discussed with us and chosen your bike. You apply for a Certificate online using the relevant Cycle to Work Scheme website. Your employee will usually sign an online Hire Agreement at this time.
3. Once approved, a Certificate will be issued to either your employer or directly to you, whichever is requested.
4. The Certificate is then redeemed at RCE (via email or in store) in exchange for the bike.
Yes, get in contact or drop in the shop and we can arrange that for you.

It's checked and serviced by a Cytech accredited mechanic. Parts that need replacing are replaced. We provide a 3 month warranty as standard and pass on manufacturer warranty where possible.
We only accept £ GBP Sterling, generally you can pay in with your local credit/debit card and your bank will transfer it into GBP.
If you don't like the bike or it doesn't fit then we're happy to take it back within 14 days of purchase. We just ask you to cover return shipping and return it as bought. If there's a mechanical defect that's covered under the terms of the warranty we will replace or refund fully including shipping costs.

Unfortunately not, bikes need to be of a certain value to warrant the costs of shipping, mechanical
inspection, photography etc. As a general guide we're only likely to price bikes that cost more than £1500
new. We also love classic bikes that have been looked after. We are specialists in road, time trial bikes
and cross bikes. However we will consider any bike if you are looking to part exchange.
Does my bike have to be in perfect condition to get a quote?
No as long as you describe every defect we can still price it assuming the general guide above is adhered to.
We consider the following factors before making an offer for a bike – price when new, demand & supply of make and model, condition of bike and estimated age, components with any wear and tear factored in. We also sweep prices from all online marketplaces, retailers, shops, direct distributors for most up to date pricing.
Cleaning is recommended as it means the provisional price will be more likely to match the final price. If the bike is dirty it will potentially be hiding issues that need to be priced in to the quote. We service all the bikes before sale anyway so servicing not essential although a well looked after and serviced bike is likely to get a better price.
We need to check the bike is sound mechanically and that the detail on the sale form matches the bike when we inspect it. Any defects not described will need to be reflected in the final price.
You can get the bike packed up securely and we will organise a courier to collect. When the bike arrives at Road Cycle Exchange we will inspect and either give you a call if any issue with condition or description, or transfer funds as agreed.
We transfer the money via bank transfer when the bike is dropped or collected.
Please call the store 020 8546 8289 and register your complaint verbally. Alternatively you can write to firstname.lastname@example.org. Any complaint will be responded to within 48 hours and all complaints are reviewed (and responded to if necessary) by a Director.
