LCE were delighted when GB triathlete and Ironman Liz Pinches got in touch through the Thames Turbo member's forum regarding selling her Sigma Kronos . A team issue carbon TT bike that has been used for a few races but now surplus to her requirements.
"Beyond Going Long" magazine described Liz as "one of the most talented long distance age group triathletes this country has – no mean feat when you consider the strength in depth in the UK!" Liz had an incredible 2012 season, coming first in her age group at Ironman 70.3 Italy and putting in an outstanding performance in Antwerp at the Ironman 70.3, beating several of the PRO's racing.
This year, Liz has returned to iron-distance racing and finished 2nd in her age-group in the South Africa Ironman in April. As a result she has qualified for an illustrious place at the world championships in Kona. Most recently she won her age group at Challenge Roth. Well done Liz.
LCE couldn't resist an opportunity for a photo of Liz in her GB kit with the Kronos. This fantastic bike will hit the website this weekend, a perfect low cost starter option for someone getting into triathlon or time trialing."London Cycle Exchange is such a great way of exchanging bikes without hassle or worry. The market has been in need of this - it removes a lot of risk from the buyer as you know you are getting a working and well serviced bike, unlike auction sites where its pot luck. The process is really easy and you feel like you're getting a fair deal. I think this will make getting the right bike for cycling and triathlon much more cost effective for those entering the sport or upgrading as they get more serious" Liz Pinches
We wish Liz all the best for October .
